RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Marketing Director - Cardiometabolic Health, the Senior Brand Manager - Cardiometabolic Health will be accountable for ensuring pre-launch milestones are being met to enable our successful launch in chronic weight management (CWM) and Diabetes.

You will play a critical role in developing the launch plans; from thought leader engagement, environmental shaping, go to market strategy, consumer activation and other deliverables related to the launch. You will work closely with global, IBU and local cross functional teams to lead the development and implementation of our launch plans, brand strategy and tactics.

The Sr Brand Manager -  Cardiometabolic Health  is specifically responsible for:

  • Driving the strategic development and implementation of our molecule in CWM and Diabetes.
  • Informing and supporting our continued transformation agenda and institutionalizing commercial shifts necessary to successfully deliver on the CWM and Diabetes strategy.
  • Gaining deep customer insights across patients, payers and HCPs to inform our brand strategy in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Defining Lilly Canada’s consumer activation roadmap for our molecule including the development of consumer marketing strategy, leading discussions with senior management on capabilities, strategy, and execution necessary to drive consumer activation in Canada.
  • Leadership of the customer planning process and operational plan process for pre-NOC and post NOC activities.
  • Partnering with the Global and IBU teams to ensure alignment on strategy and efficient use of common resources.
  • Driving and leading the launch preparation partnership process in collaboration with the cross functional local and global teams.
  • Managing of the overall commercial brand budget for pre and post launch.
  • Driving innovative thinking across the cross functional team for a bold and comprehensive pre and post launch OCE plans.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree.
  • 7+ years of marketing related experience required.
  • Experience with brand management: launching new products/NILEX management an asset.
  • Extensive omnichannel marketing experience.
  • Teamwork and leadership – proven ability to partner with and engage others towards a common goal.
  • Experimentation and Risk Taking –proven track record of pursuing non-conventional ways to meet customer needs and enhance the customer experience.
  • Learning agility and high comfort with change in a high-stake environment.
  • Project Management – ability to manage detailed, complex projects.
  • Business acumen skills – budget management, strategic trade-offs, development and monitoring of lead measures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (excel, word and PowerPoint)

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PREFERENCES

  • Consumer marketing experience an asset.
  • TA experience:  Understanding metabolic disorders and the competitive environment in CWM and Diabetes an asset.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Location:

This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs.
